LA MANGA CLUB GOLF COURSES
La Manga’s three world-renowned 18-hole golf courses have been the focus of activity since the resort opened in 1972 and many internationally-famous tournaments have been hosted here. Three top quality courses each offer their own distinctive style and terrain.

The courses and facilities are designed to cater for every level of golfer – so don’t be intimidated by them. Go out and show the world what you can do. There is a also a Golf Academy which provides both group and private tuition of the highest caliber and every week there are Stableford, Medal and Four Ball competitions open to all. Soft spikes are required on each of the courses.
The training and practice facilities are tremendous and include a floodlit driving range, 80 practice bays plus two chipping greens, a practice bunker and a large practice green.

WEST COURSE
The West Course was designed in 1971 by architect Dave Thomas. It is set above the hills overlooking La Manga Club and the views, tree lined, undulating fairways combined with breathtaking views and fast greens make this course particularly exciting to play.

SOUTH COURSE
Designed by architect Robert Dean Putman in 1971, the south course was re-modelled by Arnold Palmer in 1992 and is now the championship course at La Manga. The course provides a stiff test for all players and its main difficulty is length.

NORTH COURSE
The par 71 north course was established in 1971 and the architect was Robert Dean Putman. It’s more hilly than the south course and therefore requires precision more than length. There are spectacular views from the 4th tee.

TENNIS
La Manga is well-equipped for all your favourite racquet sports and has some 28 floodlit tennis courts, its own tennis academy, squash courts and two paddle tennis courts.

HORSE RIDING
Both experienced riders and beginners of all ages can take advantage of the horse-riding facilities at La Manga. Among the treks available through the Murcian countryside are gentle walks across the nearby sandy beaches or wandering through the local citrus fruit groves. There are two off-complex riding stables at El Rancho de la Fuente and El Puntal – one in and, one close to Los Belones, the nearest village to the resort.

WATERSPORTS
The warm and shallow waters of the Mar Menor are ideal for children and for practising your own favourite water sports.

Among the other activities available on the Costa Calida or the Mar Menor are various sailing centres and schools who are more than happy to rent you sailing equipment or provide basic, intermediate or advanced lessons in windsurfing, water skiing or sailing. Powerboating, canoeing and for the less energetic, pedaloes are all readily available.
Boat trips can also be arranged from a variety of locations on the Mar Menor
